Topic: M&P for Turkish tip (3 msgs / 73 lines)

Someone mentioned using their mortar and pestle for Turkish coffee. If you
have a nice stone mortar and pestle don't think it'd be a good idea to use
it for Turkish coffee after using it for rub. (To go on a bunch-o-ribs, five
racks in the Traeger getting hickory-apple-maple smokerized:-) Retired my
Pavoni whirly-chop 'coffee grinder' previously used for my rubs. (had been
used for nothing but herbs and spices since getting it free from Gevalia
IIRC but might have been Smiles.) Debi got me a nice big stone M&P last
Christmas.

Ok I fibbed, not every breathing moment. Goofing off today and family coming
over for Q dinner shortly.
If you do M&P for Turkish after rub, highly suggest a sacrificial seasoning
grind...
I know how gauche, replying to my own post.
So sue me, I'm playing. Should be cleaning up that Major over there prior to
timer mod install or doing something else constructive but oh well. Who's
gonna fire me, me?! Hey I got ribs in the smoker, baked beans a bakin',
macaroni potato salad already made and the never ending demands of mcKona
Koffee can just kiss my butt for the moment:-) Damn, took me over 10 months
to say that! Oh just thought of it, off to make an heirloom tomato cucumber
salad with a touch of sea salt, cracked pepper and 12yr balsamic, yeah
that'll work...hmmm maybe a touch of unfiltered EVOO too.
But the Bric' just told me to pull myself a shot of Ohana first, haven't had
one today! Hah, got it back coffee related!

OFF Topic, but you started it. Love that Traeger! Smoked everything but
coffee in it!
