Some time back Wayne (Stumptown) did a series of dinners with coffee and
wine pairings IIRC.

I love the thought of coffee and dessert pairings, or just plain
coffee and chocolate pairings, or coffee and coffee pairings, but I
digress.
A while back, Stephen Carey of this list was having a dinner party and
he asked the group what coffees to serve, and there were a few great
suggestions.
The thread was "after fish dinner coffee", from 11/13/07, if you care
to search the archives.
I thought that if the coffee he was serving had a nutty component, for
example, then use nuts in every course (barring anyone with nut
allergies, of course), including the dessert.
