Topic: Looking for some Yemen Mokha Sana'ani (7 msgs / 127 lines)
1) From: MikeG
I really like this one to blend with and was bummed tonight to see
it's not on the list. If anyone wants to part with theirs I'd like to
purchase up to 5 lbs or so.
Any chance we'll see some more Sana'ani Tom or Maria?
Thanks
Mike in Salt Lake City

You should try the 2 on the list now, the Sharasi and Mattari. They rock.

Eh, for my blending purposes the "wine like" descriptors of those two
kind of turn me off. The "dark semi sweet, tobaccoey" thing the
Sana'ani has going is just what I'm looking for to blend with a mellow
bean like the Villalobos.

The Mattari is, IMHO, the best Yemen of the batch. Also, you should have =
bought the last 2 pounds of Sana'ani from our host's sale page before I =
did ;-)

Went ahead and ordered too much of the Mattari. No sense in longing
for unobtanium.
Anyone else doing the Villalobos? Blending it? What with?

Mike,
I enjoyed the Villabobos as a SO espresso. I think you are correct in
your assessment that it will make an excellent espresso component. I
will be testing the DP WP Ethiopia Koratie tomorrow. 3/4 Villalobos
and 1/4 Koratie might make a dynamite espresso.
