Topic: In the Cup on Monday ... (7 msgs / 186 lines)
1) From: Eddie Dove
Honduras Organic Maracala - Cocosam Coop roasted to Full City on 09/28
in the RK Drum and brewed this morning in the Technivorm with
Swissgold filter ... delicious, sweet red apple spiced with enough
cinnamon to tantalize the olfactory and please the palate.
Up next this morning are:
Panama Boquete Golden Peaberry
Colombia Huila Finca El Buenavista (4-Star)
It's gonna be a great day!

Eddie,
Good to hear from you. I am having 8 day rested Ethiopia Koratie.
This is awesome stuff. Complex with a nice deep fruit beginning and a
sweet molassas finish. I see Tom is out of both types now. I am glad
the stash is well stocked with both the WP and DP.

FTO Harrar for me this morning. Wonderful rich body and medium fruit.
Not the blueberry bomb, but definitely blueberry notes to it.

4) From: Bill
Eddie, I agree with Les, nice to hear from you!
I have some of the Honduras roasted to a nice FC on Saturday morning.
Didn't like it much yesterday... too much roast flavor. Or to put it
another way, too one-dimensional, needs a couple more days to open up.
This morning in the cup was the Guat Agua Tibia (C+ on 10/4), then Colombia
Huila Buenavista (C+ on 10/4).
Had my day off messed up (was going deer hunting today), so instead went out
to the range and fired a few rounds. Will get out next Monday. Will
compensate with more coffee!

This morning it is Kenya Hiriga (now sold out), roasted Friday in the Gene
Cafe to City++. Intense cardamom aroma, effervescent acidity, tons of black
currant. Mouthfeel is pure silk.

Nice idea on the Hiriga. Think I will go roast some in a few minutes.
Drinking some Guatamalan San Jose Ocano today on 5 days rest. Starting to
really come into it's own. I just love this stuff. I am going to get more
before I drink up all my stash of this one.
