Topic: Urnex on plastic? (2 msgs / 55 lines)
1) From: Pischke
Hey all,
Does anybody know how plastic reacts to Urnex? Reason I ask is that I
want to give the chaff collector section of my HWP a good cleaning, and
there is some baked-on coffee "stuff" on the screens that looks to be very
stubborn. I figured that if it doesn't do a number on plastic, Urnex would
probably be the best thing to use.
    Thoughts/experiences?

Mike,
Use it all the time for cleaning my roasters (Alp and HWP). It's very
effective and won't harm the plastic. I have both the powder form and the
bottled (blue) liquid form and either one does the trick. I prefer the
bottled form since I can just get a couple squirts into a bowl and dip an
old toothbrush in it for cleaning the roaster parts.
