Topic: Vintage coffee 05/06 crop still surprisingly good (21 lines)
1) From: Edward Bourgeois
I started roasting in the fall of 05. I have always stored my green
beans in canning jars vacuumed with a Foodsaver. The other day I
pulled out a Guatemala peaberry that was packed 9/06. Upon breaking
the seal it looked and smelled quite good and roasted well. I'm really
surprised at how well it kept as the cup was very good. I roasted it
to a c+/fc and the flavors were still well pronounced.
