My reply got bounced back. I guess the string got too long.
Always 250 gr never vary. If I have an odd weight I use the Behmor.
Coffees destined for the Hot-top get stored in 500 gr Vac-packs.
Coffee destined for the Behmor get stored in one pound packs. I always
do back to back roasts in each

Barry is it the coffee variety that has you prepackage specifically
for Behmor or Hottop?  If so which types of coffees find their way
into each machine?

My old standbys, that I know the profile for. go directly in the Hot-top.
That is unless I am lazy and don't want to set it all up. New coffees
usually start in the Behmor. The new coffees are purchased in smaller
quantities. The Behmor is always out and on the kitchen counter for roasting
in the house. The Hot-top is in the lower kitchen cabinet. I have to bend
down, lift it out,carry it outside and attach an extension cord. On a bad
back day that gets to be a pain. If I am too lazy then it is the Behmor with
a newer coffee . If I really like the new one and order more it moves to the
Hot-top. I guess you could call my Behmor my sample roaster and my Hot-top
is the work horse.

Another thought. I find the Guatemalans always turn out better in the
Hot-Top
