Topic: Good coffee at Disney World? (Coffee) (44 lines)
1) From: Paul Whitener Jr.
I was there this past summer and found that the best espresso could =
be found around the World Showcase in Epcot (in general, this is =
where most of the best food is as well). I had a decent espresso in =
"Morocco" (although it was served in a small plastic cup which I was =
afraid would begin to melt) and in a cafe in "France." Decent, but =
not great, and presentation can be problematic (for those who don't =
care for disposal drinkware).
We stayed at the Polynesian and yes, if you eat breakfast in the =
restaurant (Kona Cafe) they'll bring you a french press if you ask =
for one. This was the best coffee I had while we were there. Steer =
clear of the stand-alone coffee counter next to it, both the drip and =
espresso come from push-button Nescafé machines, as does most of the =
coffee found elsewhere around the park. If you'd like a truly =
revolting experience, fill up one of their low-grade plastic travel =
mugs (the ones that offer free refills throughout your stay) with =
piping hot Nescafé to get that weak coffee/melting plastic flavor =
that we're all no doubt fond of.
Regardless of the coffee, enjoy your trips!
