No, the Duetto requires 20A circuit, just like my Bricoletta, just like all
modern kitchens have. That 20A requirement also equates to faster recovery
time. That's a good thing, especially if entertaining.
Yes the Duetto's greater and more flexible capabilities (and higher quality
fit and finish) equates to higher price. However, if shopping now give
Chris' Coffee a call (mention home-barista) and you may be surprised at the
nice current Christmas discount coming out a C note and change more than the
Brewtus III rotary. IMO worth it. Not saying the Brewtus III in either tank
vibe or direct plumb rotary wouldn't be a decent machine, just that for not
that much more rotary with tank OR direct plumb at the flick of a lever plus
faster recovery and IMO better proven before and after purchase Support
Record is a good thing. Personally I know which I'd buy and likely will
soon.
