Topic: Bean density (35 lines)
1) From: james McDougal
Based on a previous discussion, I decided to measure the density of the
beans that I had. Basically, I scooped them into a 100ml laboratory beaker
and used a straight edge passed across the top to level them and then took
the average of three readings on the scale. Units are grams/100ml.

Question is whether this is useful. Looks with this sampling of beans
somewhere around 82 would be a dividing line between hard bean (P1 or P2 for
Behmor) and soft bean (P3 & P4) if bean density reflects hardness. Thoughts
from others?
