Hardly comparable machines, weren't they? or am I thinking of the
4/280? We had a 4/260 (280???) as our software server in the '90's and
it was a Real Machine. I remember the 3/160's as being twinks.
Maybe old age is setting in and I just can't keep them all straight.
Anyway, those VMEbus machines were nice.
I have some data on 8mm tape that is probably gone forever. I haven't
fired up the 4mm drive in 6 years; even the VXA drive hasn't been
run in a year or three.

Anyone ever use a wire recorder? Had to toss it finally, but THAT was
technology right there, I tell you...
