Topic: Tom's new scoring system is here! (3 msgs / 69 lines)

I was just roasting some yemen sharasi, checking the roasting notes, and
came across the new scoring system Tom told us about a few weeks ago.http://sweetmarias.com/coffee.arabia.yemen.php#YemenMokhaSharasi2008It really hits the mark for pinpointing the characteristics of a coffee. I
guess the spiciness I enjoy in this coffee is captured under complexity. I.m
looking forward to seeing all Tom's coffees rated this way.

Sorry but we ( my wife and I ) like the other one much better. No offence
Tom but when I get new coffees I always used to print out the flavor wheel
to try to pick out the flavors, aromas ect. It was also much more helpful
when comparing coffees to order. I already know Iam getting the very best
coffee in the world when I order from SM. Numbers have no flavor ever chew
on 9 ? or smell a 8.6 ? :) . Ok end of whine just my opinion :) any way to
add flavors ect. to the numbers maybe ? HAPPY ROASTING!!! Ray Tolar
