Topic: Superbowl Sunday Cup (8 msgs / 153 lines)
1) From: james McDougal
An Americano with IMV (FC roasted 7 days ago). Nice clean cup with good body
- really only fruity as it cooled, but definitely a "do again".
Now drinking a MP of the same bean for comparison. The MP is brighter, but
still very clean with good body. Interesting to see how it will be as it
cools. It's interesting how different they are but the IMV comes blaring
through for both. I tried to keep the water per gram of coffee (12 vs 16g)
constant for comparison and the beans for the MP were ground a little
coarser than the espresso grind.
Hope everybody has a great Superbowl Sunday!

Mac,
MP of a 33/67 Kenya Tegu/Ethiopia Kebado. The end of the Tegu, so I had to
use the Kebado. Nice cup, actually a bit surprising that they compliment
each other.
Soon it'll be another cup of Kebado.
The IMV is resting. Shhh! couple more days for it...

Hey Bill! Aren't those Ethiopians great! I just roasted some Dale Yirga Alem
to C+ and can hardly wait. Wish I had purchased the Kebado - it's the only
one I didn't buy. Mac

I'm drinking a Melitta-brewed cup of Mana Ke'a Gardens Kona that I bought f=
rom the grower last week. I roasted it last night, so it needs more rest, b=
ut so far it is very nice. Roasted to the cusp of 2nd in about 12 minutes.=

I plan to follow my long-time Super Bowl tradition, which is to skip it. =
When I lived in Hawaii I used to go to the beach because it was nearly dese=
rted and we had it almost to ourselves. However, I might try to catch the h=
alftime show to watch Springsteen.

Mac, I also had the Dale Yirga Alem this morning. Very good cup (actually
two cups:>)(roasted last Sunday). And it is a very good Superbowl
Sunday--Cards are in it. It will be a great Superbowl Sunday if they win
it.:>)

Mike Chester's D'OH Blend, as a double breve cappuccino. If I didn't
know otherwise, I'd have sworn I was drinking a mocha!
