Topic: BEHMOR PURCHASE (5 msgs / 138 lines)
1) From: Mark Lizotte
Just thought I would let you all know about my purchasing experience with S=
M.
After months of research and reading multiple posts on this mailing list I =
finally purchased a Behmor with the #8 sampler coffee plus 7 more pounds. I=
ordered late last Friday evening and got it today Wednesday, March 25th. T=
hat's a 3 business day turn around. Talk about quick shipment and service.
I just roasted my FIRST batch of Burundi Kayanza Bwayi No. 7   It smell=
s so good. When I used a WB Poppery II with these beans my roast never smel=
led like this.
I've just got to get used to what the profile and programs mean so I can be=
even more of a coffee snob than I already am. I know I am addicted to good=
coffee...Now I am having symptoms of being addicted to home roasting. Is=
there any hope or help for me?
I HOPE NOT =-)
So many coffees not enough money

Congratulations, Mark.
Have a world of fun exploring as you roast, finding out what works
for you and what doesn't. I went from an IR2 to a Behmor and have
found that while I do 90% of my roasting on my Behmor, there are a
few beans that I just like better when I use the IR2. I realize it
is me and something I am doing, but it is what it is. Another great
thing is the service the Behmor team will give you, they make a nice
team with S & Ms.
Again, have a lot of fun. Keep in touch and let us know how you do
with the new roaster.
Stephen

Hey Mark,
I too went from a Poppery II to a Behmor. You are in for the ride of your
life my friend. From time to time I still use the Poppery when the beans are
too small for the Behmor so don't get rid of your Poppery II.
Congratulations and enjoy your new toy.

Congratulations and welcome to a slippery slope ;o)
The Behmor is certainly a nice machine ... enjoy the journey.
