This morning I turned the techivorm on and it didn't work. Its a 741?. The
power is making it past the micro switch in the base. Any one got a wiring /
disassembly diagram?

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

This might be in the "duh" department, but is the carafe depressing
the white button at the base that signals the pump to get going? I've
had similar panic moments with my T.V., and found that the carafe had
just not been snug against the base despite the rocker switch being on.

Well, there is a float in the tank that has a microswitch. It seems that it
was lime'ed up. I switched buildings and and the water is really hard at
this new location. While i run cleaner thru it, it seems that anything over
a month is too long.
It works now. FYI, the float is under the sliver plate in the tank.

Thanks for the heads-up--though I use only filtered water, I may do a
"sour salt" descaling. (Had the machine >3 yrs, never needed to
descale, but it wouldn't hurt).
And Happy Passover, everyone (whether or not you celebrate it)!
