Topic: popper = heat gun? (3 msgs / 33 lines)

Has anybody tried using a popper in place of a heat gun? I'm
thinking about trying it. with a bread machine. You would have to
adjust how much air got through it to adjust the temperature.

The popper does not get hot enough to roast with a bread machine. With out
the airflow restriction of the beans in there you could probably hold your
hand over the top and not get burned.

Your right. I have started fiddling with a tin can to make the air
flow adjustable.
