Topic: Green coffee from Honduras (15 lines)
1) From: mpj100
Good afternoon everyone:
I guess I can say I scheduled timely because I just got back on Sunday from Atima, Honduras; the coup down there was a bit hectic, but managed to get around it and get airborne prior to the chaos. While I was there, I picked up a few pounds of green coffee; the bags look to contain some beans that are black in color along with some beans still in their husks. Do I want to discard the darker (blackish) looking beans? Will they taint my coffee? How did the beans get so dark looking?
If anyone has information, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Nectar
