Took some out of the freezer from a roast before the 4th to take
camping with hand grinder and AP.
I"m in the redwoods loving this coffee. I'm picking up some woodsy,
cedar notes.

You're lucky, been out of that bean for months, and sure miss it.
Enjoy!

I remember that one. Pretty good stuff. Currently I'm drinking the new
Costa Rica "Cafe Sin Limites" which is very good. A nice citrus/apple
brightness to it, without being painful about it. I believe this first
pound of it was roasted just into FC in the Behmor.

.I had the same coffee in the morning on the beach at Wildwood Crest NJ this
past week. The deep notes were a great complement to the early sun and
water..

Drinking a cup right now.. black. I no longer drink my homeroast w/cream
(man, that's a LOT of years.. won't tell you how many, ha)
Rich, deep - man, I love this one!
:-D
I asked Sheila Quinn what (at the time) current bean she liked best. When
she described the Oriente (I remember "chocolate" - after that, no other
description is needed for me...). So I bought 10 lbs. Getting to the bottom
of my stash, though, and I *will* miss this one! My son and I absolutely
love this. Since my French Press broke (probably from so much use, lol), I
make a full pot in my Chemex for the both of us.
So sometimes I have some left over. One day I was heating up the previous
day's coffee for myself - started to say to my son, "I'm heating the
leftover coffee because..."
Before I could finish, he said, "because it's so good you don't want to
waste it, and it makes you realize everything else you used to drink,
Dunkin' Donuts included, is just s**t?!"

+1 on loving this bean. I'm glad I still have a few pounds left to roast.
