I drove through McDonalds for a Fruit and Yogurt Parfait after picking up a
wrap at Togos for lunch today and they handed me a free Iced Mocha. Bear in
mind, the employee had several of them warming on a tray near the
drive-through menu sign board, but to me it tasted like nothing more then
chocolate milik.
I'm not impressed.

Haven't tried a mocha (not a fan of the concept), but personally, if I were far from home and on the verge of a caffeine headache, I'd rather drink a McCafe cappuccino than any garbage from Starbucks. Seriously.

I got one of the 7oz freebie iced mochas a couple weeks ago too. Tasted
virtually zero espresso, indeed basically like (lower quality) chocolate
milk. (Hershey's at best)

Why not, since I now hear ads for one of the major supermarket chains that
brags about their "indoor farmer's market" meaning their produce isle.
And to swing this one way off topic, the only reason that those Coors cans
have "Cold Activated" labels is because you can't drink that stuff warm.
The beers I like (like the coffees I like) taste different, but still good
over a range of temperatures. Get beer cold enough or coffee hot enough and
you can swill down some pretty grim stuff.
