Dennis,
I would for sure connect with Les on this list. Les is the father of Thor
tampers. This man knows levers and how to use them.
He is not alone here but I would start with him.

Awesome!

Most definitely. I have a ~1999 Professional. It's temperamental and I got
burns all the time from the boiler when I was learning the thing, but I
absolutely love it.
Enjoy and drop me a line if you have any questions.

Hey Jeff what's up? Yeah! I got my first burn too!! Haha from steam
wand... Ice been on thus list with SM for about 7 years! But last few
I've been quite busy and still that way! Anyway, I have 2 commercial
machines.. A FAEMA compact HX and a Unic Diva also rotary pump and
both plumbed in... I've alwsys wanted to try lever but either too
expensive for such a tiny machine and I'd alwsys just see them in the
home section not commercial! But it seems they are both like many
others! Is your experience tfat they produce a superior espresso to
the larger imbed in semi autos like the ones with the e61 ? I have
been pulling great shots since tge first pull! Ok the 3rd was an
experiment that failed!!! Haha anyway I'm really diggin it so much I'm
considering selling one of my commercial machines and getting the
larger proff lever... Maybe an Elektra only because I understand they
use my custom 58mm naked portafilters... Maybe the Achilles by gaggia
as I understand it's almost a rebadged pavoni with many
interchangeable parts... But who knows! So far the Povoni is great! I
don't particularly like any of the small bases though... If I go pro,
this pavoni europiccola will become an experiment! Iplumb in with
manual refill and PID!! well see!
