Topic: My Vetrano is sold (3 msgs / 48 lines)
1) From: Mike Chester
I recently offered my Vetrano here and on CG for sale. I am happy to report that it has now been sold, so if someone was trying to decide whether to make an offer or not, the decision has been made for you.
Now comes the hard part, waiting for my new Duetto II. It literally is on a slow boat from Italy or may not have even shipped yet. The factory where they are made closes down completely for August and they did not notify the local distributer if a container load went out before they closed or whether it will go out after they return in September. Either way, it will seem like an eternity.
I think I will go right now and pull my last shot from Vito, do a chemical backflush, and shut it off to prepare for shipment.

Mike I feel and agree with you. If I ever sell my house here in Hawaii it
will take 2 or 3 months until I get all my stuff and set it up in my new
home. That includes all my roasting equipment as well.

Barry,
You have been working at getting your coffee things set up for a long
time. I assume that you are in many ways excited about your impending
move to the PNW, but leaving your coffee set-up behind is probably one
of the bummers.
One the other hand, with all your experience, you hopefully will be
able to fairly quickly set up your coffee stuff in a way that suits
you. In fact, you can keep it all in mind as you are house shopping.
I look forward to pictures when the time comes.
