True, but there's also context. And let's face it, typing Aeropress
and Heat Gun + Dog Bowl, and Idio Misty Valley and Dry Processed, et.
cetera all gets very tiring. Lingo is a product of a culture. Enjoy it.
Hang out long enough, and you'll get 'em all, PDQ.

Written language should facilitate effective communication. Elegant and
cultured use of such is always appreciated.

UoA is a vital process in establishing membership in a community. Look at
any profession or hobby and you will see that.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Indeed the behavior is prevalent; however arguments could be made on its
importance.
My internal UBF* rises exponentially in the presence of sanctimonious UoA -
even a valid SME's** message denigrates when processed with thoughts of the
alphabet.

Its just what is. I work in a building with a couple of 1000 engineers; we
manage to inherently slice white bread into what we think are really
distinct pieces.
