Topic: Profile guessing (2 msgs / 31 lines)
1) From: Glenn
I have what may well be a stupid question but here it goes. I've been
roasting on a drum/bbq roaster for the past year with sometimes amazing
results ...and the other. Without experimenting with alot of different
beans, most likely ruining the batch is there a correlation between the
size of the bean and the appropriate roast profile? I often keep my
Vienna roast friends well supplied which no doubt is a good thing but
not exactly my goal. Thanks for your help

I'm not sure the size of the bean will make that much difference. Density
will be of greater concern. SHG and SHB are two guides as well as the
altitude at which the beans are grown.
I hope this is helpful.
