Sad day, many of you have known Michael for many years. He passed away last
week. His sister was able to get hold of me yesterday.
She asked that I let his friends know.

Hi, Ginny
I am so sad for you. As I remember it, he was a good friend of yours. Didn't you do antique watches together? Or is that someone else?
I hope you're well and that life is good.

OMG--didn't get the original message. What happened? I knew Michael from the fountain pen listservs and it was there he turned me on to homeroasting and good espresso; even sent me my first beans to try. I knew he was struggling with depression but this comes as a shock.

My Dearest Barbara:
Thanks for the note and I will pass on your thoughts to his family.
Yes Micheal was a very dear, dear friend who I actually met on this list
many years ago. He came out when I had the ranch in Oregon and we went to
the
Northwest Gathering together.
Very sad.
We did do antique watches as a matter of fact I was just about ready to send
him some to put in his store.
Micheal was a great fellow, he will be missed.
