Topic: Quest M3 Query (3 msgs / 60 lines)
1) From: Robert Yoder
Greetings, Group,

I am so happy to see this lovely little roaster, and it is certainly on my wish-list!

One really obvious question is why there is no Bean-Mass temperature monitoring provided or even provided-for.

Can anyone help with this question?

Happy roasting,

robert

The why there is no bean mass monitoring is obvious, because the mfg decided
not to include bean mass monitoring. Why they made the decision don't have a
clue! IMO agree dumb.
However, seems easily rectified. Great (lengthy) M3 thread started last year
from some early adopters on H-B including former SM List regular

Thank you, once again, MiKe, for the info! The link you provided is exactly on point and should serve me well. It seems to me that this roaster with this information might actually be a really good teaching tool.

best regards,
