Topic: Behmore end of roast request change (5 msgs / 339 lines)
1) From: michael kaericher
I know that others have a desire similar to my own to change the way the ro=
ast ends on a Behmor.  While a current thread ponders the wisdom of alway=
s ending on 100 % power, I think that its not all that difficult to change =
this by cracking open the door after 1C.  What I am concerned with is ens=
uring that I get enough roast time at the end to make it exactly as far as =
I want.
A couple of months ago, I sent some feedback to Behmor to this effect.  I=
t seems that Joe Behm would like to incorporate such a change into the Behm=
or.  Below is the response and conversation.

Mike,
I agree your suggestions would require the user to be there
during the process. Then it's a matter of doing it with the existing =
buttons if at all possible..
My rep and I have been tossing around new ideas to the assembly plant almos=
t daily since my last visit in May. =
We'll
get there and somehow work it in a way it's safe or as safe as humanly =
possible.. Key is getting all the engineers to agree..
Thanks again
Joe

Ed,
You are right.  I often overlook that bottom of the message stuff.  I w=
ill send Joe a message tonight informing him of my oversight.
Thank you,
Mike

Hi Mike,

If you are already in a modification-suggestion conversation with Joe Behm, how about mentioning the comments that many have about wanting to cut power (a la P2) at their own time of choice?

Happy Roasting,
