Topic: New Coffee Alearts (8 msgs / 125 lines)
1) From: Ken Schillinger
One of the things I miss on this list, is SM's announcement of new coffee as it becomes available. It seems as though I never "get the word" now that they aren't announced on this list. I'd sure appreciate it if Tom or someone from SM would return to announcing the arrival and availability of beans as they come in. I doubt that I'm alone in this.
Best regards, Ken

You can sign up for an RSS feed for new coffee arrivals on the SM site. It
works great.

I'm in the process of making our website more useful to customers too. Nice
to know most of the FAQ are on your guy's Website.

I 2nd that suggestion.
I only get the once a month e-mail letter and I know that there are new
beans that I never see until it is too late.

Completely sideways, but if you used RoasterThing for logging your
roasts, every time you start it, it checks with SM and shows you the
new coffees.http://www.roasterthing.comIra

Another nice feature is you can enter the Sweet Maria's part number for the
coffee and RoasterThing will fill out all the details when you add the
coffee to your inventory database.
I don't pay enough attention to the announcements and usually blow right
past them, but I do use the Add SM Coffee feature.

The RSS feed is a good thing, but I would need to visit SweetMarias website
to collect it. I was only commenting that I liked it back when the
announcement came to me, rather than the other way around.
Best regards, Ken
