No reason similar setup wouldn't work, though agree only small events use
flojet and 5gal jug! I hookup via foodgrade hose to filter for large events
like this coming weekend out at Vancouver Lake.
Ever hear the phrase "be careful what you pray for, you just might get it"?
Today's roast session 25 batches ~180lb :) Last batch just in the drum now
but didn't start roasting until 10:30am so will be an about 8 1/2hr session
with warm up and cool down, not too shabby for a wee USRC 3k. LOVE not being
strapped to the roaster the whole time, well worth the $5k for profile
control system!

Probably only 20-25 Ton give or take roasted with my "little pony" so far,
just broken in :) =
(Definitely not going to take the time to or effort to get the highly
accurate poundage roasted number spanning over three years! Though come to
think of it I "should" know, if only I kept better records. I could figure
it out simple enough, have records of all greens ordered since day one...)
Done roasting back to bagging...

It's good to hear from you, MiKe! Can you describe the control system? What kind of inputs, What kind of intervals, what kind of fuel & air control? It would be nice to know what to hope for! Happy Roasting(!) robert yoder
