Topic: Help with Grandma's Vacuum Pot (5 msgs / 100 lines)
1) From: Donna Andrews
I am trying to find out more information on Grandma's Vacuum Pot. I know
Its a Cory, There is a DHU on the top pot and DHL on the bottom. The
bottom pot has a metal top that says pat pending on the underneath side.
Also, there is a heating element that has a high and low side on the cord.
I have the original instructions but it does not tell you much other than
how to brew good coffee. Any help will be appreciated.

Donna, What do you want to know? You will need a Cory glass rod filter in o=
rder to brew according to spec, if you don't have one. Also, the rubber gas=
ket must be pliable enough to create a good seal. Here's a link to a youtub=
e clip of someone using some f-word coffee in a Cory (I couldn't bear to wa=
tch it). There are links to other vac pot vids too -- maybe you can find on=
e that looks like Grandma's. =http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1AXmzF1f2sCheers!

Hi, I have bee nout of townand could not respond to any email. I would
like to thank everyone for their response. However, I still would like to
find out more about the pot.
Like how old is it? I cannot seem to locate the pots anywhere on the Web
they are DHU/DHL.
Actually any and all information would be great.
