Topic: Purchase recomendations: Jura E70 or CapressoBar w/ Maestro grind (41 lines)
1) From: Greg Hawley
Hi,
I need a little help deciding which way to go here.
Here are the facts:
1.) My wife just bought a $1700 sewing machine, while trading her "old" one
in, for $1000
2.) I can pretty much do what I want now - cool!
3.) I can't decide between a Jura E70 Superauto, or a CapressoBar with a
Maestro grinder
4.) I don't currently drink espresso at home because the machine I have
produces stuff that is awful (Krups combo, drip and steam toy); but I love
espresso when it's made right, and I especially like Americano's.
5.) I make 6-7 cups of regular coffee in the AM, everyday; on the weekends I
make a pot in the afternoon, or make a few cups with a one cup brewer.
6.) I roast my own, and will never go back...
7.) My wife likes decaf carmel latte's, I suppose I'd make her one of these
once in a while if I had the right set-up.
8.) I do NOT have a lot of spare time for playing around and fiddling with
things, I just want darn good coffee (or espresso, or the coffee crema I've
been reading about), without a lot of hassle.
Does anyone have advice on these 2 products, I've pretty much seen
everything on the Internet I can find on them both. Thanks in advance for
any information or opinions.
Greg.
