I've got a few pounds of greens which I'd like to store for a year or more.= I've never tried freezing 'em. I don't own a food saver but do have = a means of vac-sealing them in mason jars. Any other suggestions for way= s in which you've successfully saved greens would be much appreciated! Hi. I asked a similar question a few weeks ago, and got a response from Ed Bourgeois. He's been using canning jars for 7 years and has had very good results. I copied his response below (it's the section with '>>'). Hope this helps. >>Been using a foodsaver home vacuum with the large mouth canning jar <Snip> >>Ed Bourgeois aka farmroast <Snip> Homeroast mailing list Homeroasthttp://lists.sweetmariascoffee.com/mailman/listinfo/homeroast_lists.sweetmariascoffee.comSweet Maria's Forum Our new Coffee Library > Date: Wed, 25 Jul 2012 10:24:19 -0700 <Snip> Homeroast mailing list Homeroasthttp://lists.sweetmariascoffee.com/mailman/listinfo/homeroast_lists.sweetmariascoffee.comSweet Maria's Forum Our new Coffee Library |
