Topic: Uganda Budadiri vs Bugisu (2 msgs / 44 lines)
1) From: Mike McGinness
Just pulled my first shot of Budadiri this evening (ran out of Bugisu.)
Every bit as good, great espresso shot, IMO. Sorry Tom, I like it better
than your Monkey Blend! I like the hint of sweetness in a light full city
roast Uganda shot... so smooth and yummy. Glad I went ahead and ordered 5#
before my 1# test order arrived! (Didn't want to risk it running out after
hearing the great reviews from y'all)
Speaking of shots. Awhile back someone mentioned something I believe they
called a "depth charge." A shot of espresso added to a cup of coffee. I may
be mistaken on the name. Had to make an early 125mile drive this morning so
gave it a try. We brewed our usual eVac morning pot (Greenwell Reserve Kona
this am). Added a double shot of Kona Peaberry to the 14oz thermal cup I
poured for the road. Way Good!

Yeah! Also called a "shot in the dark" and some other names too that I don't remember. I don't often go to the trouble, but once in a while they are a kick. --Andy
