These "I'm traveling, where are the good cafes" requests come up a
lot. Has anyone put up a searchable website where people could post their
favorites? Seems this info should be 'captured' somewhere, instead of
always whizzing by in a fleeting email...
Sounds like a good project, perhaps to be added onto a site like CoffeeGeek
(I think Mark is on this list?). I've a web developer so I could also put
this together, but it seems like it would be more successful if it was
attached to an already well-trafficked site?

Hi. Just caught this now...
We're ramping up the one missing piece for the CoffeeGeek site, and that's
discussion boards. I can certainly create a sub category for "good cafes in
your city"... I just have to figure out a good way to work it so people
will visit it often. Maybe major zones?

Mark;
That would be a great addition to your web site! I am an airline pilot and
I am always looking for good cafes in the cities that I am overnighting in.
I am sure that lots of the people on this list or on alt.coffee travel for
business or to visit friends and family and they would benefit from it as
well.
