Topic: Does Sumatran not crack? (3 msgs / 37 lines)
1) From: Diyer999
I have recently roasted Sumatran twice and it is the only coffee I have
roasted that seems to have little to no crack - the beans just lay there
getting darker and darker with no cracks, except for a few beans. All the
other coffees I roast have a distinct cracking period early on (about medium
brown to dark brown). Is the Sumatran coffee that different?
