Topic: 1st cup of Guatemalan Huehuetenango El Injerto (2 msgs / 44 lines)

What a great cup! Excellent smooth balance with enough complexity to make it
interesting. I roasted it almost exactly 48hrs ago light full city and just
couldn't wait to try it. A light smooth fruity brightness, mellow full mouth
feel, rich mid tones, great linger. Still tasting it... This cup was very
good from the first hot sip with crema (10oz Americano) to the last cooling
swish. My thanks to those who recommended this bean!
Off to try the Costa Rican Santa Elena Tarrazu "Miel" for the first time...

Mike,
I have just reordered the Guatemalan Huehue because it is one of the few
roasts that I like with less than 24 hours of settling. I prefer it after 24
hours. And this is the coffee that I ran almost exclusively as a Cafe
Crema. I really prefer it over the CR Miel. But not by much. Enjoy!!
