Topic: vac pot - another thought (20 lines)
1) From: Brian Ray
it just occurred to me that one other thing to consider when choosing a vac
pot is volume. because there is always some water left in the lower chamber
during brewing, it's best to get a pot in the size that you normally brew.
i always brew at least a 6-cup pot and i've had good results with the bodum
at that size (it's official max is 8 cups, but you can push it pretty close
to 9-10), although it always seems to have more depth when i brew it with 8
or more cups. all this to say, if you usually brew less than 6 cups the
yama or the smaller cona may be the better choice.
