I must be tired - I don't see the connection. We were talking about
alternates to milk in coffee (goats milk) and then the next string in the
thread was cows cream with additives such as vanilla and sugar - both of
which are a part of making soy milk. I can think of a lot of things tha=
t I
wouldn't add to coffee and chicory would be close to the top of the list.=

No, and I haven't tried chicory in place of coffee, either. ;-)

John,
Have you looked at any of the recent (say in the last five years) researc=
h
into human blood cholesterol levels? There is only a very small correlat=
ion
between dietary cholesterol and blood cholesterol. Mostly your blood
cholesterol is determined by your genes, not your diet. Clearly, you hav=
e
good genes, so dump the soy milk and live a little!

Actually, that was the "what is coffee supposed to taste like" thread, and
goat's milk is a "milk" and not an alternative (although still an
adulteration). It may not be the American norm, but it is milk.
Getting off my soap box. Going to feed and milk and get some of the
sweetest and freshest milk possible, to go with my fresh roasted coffee.
