Topic: My appreciation... (3 msgs / 72 lines)

I was doing some gardening and thinking about the homeroast list
earlier, and just want to thank everyone. When we get that occasional
"diyer" on the list, it only makes me realize how vaulable this
exchange is , and comments about the results YOU all are getting with
the roasting and cupping are really appreciated to help me "do what I
do" better. I even think "diyer" was making an attempt at being
constructive this time around, but all in all was caustic (and I hear
that diyer's off list posts to people were downright threatening.)
didn't feel too bad about acting on that, although I did receive
quite a bit of invective from them after they were disposed from the
list.

I thought we almost got him to crawl out of his hate shell for a while,
but he quickly reverted to his old ways. Reminds me of the one out of
three street kids we took in that just could not get it together.
Sometimes there is just too much damage done before hand and sometimes
you make mistakes even when trying your best.

gee, I thought I was the only one who got nasty emails from him. One of
them was unbelievably nasty and downright violent.
I just ignored them.
We are talking about coffee after all, aren't we? :)
Can't wait to visit Sweet Maria's in Emeryville....Oh Joy!
