The one thing I can not judge yet is airflow. I don't have a heat gun =
in my possession. All of the variable heat guns have less than 30 CFM.
One that has a 500 degree constant temp has a 47 cfm, but I do not want =
a constant temp.
So, I will have to get a variable temp gun and possibly purchase a =
stronger fan.
thanks for the tips!

Paul,
Since air flow is key to heat, using it to stir the beans also =
seems
to cause a lot of design difficulties with a home made roaster made with =
a heat gun. You might look at adding some mechanical stirring mechanism =
to the heat chamber.

Why not a method to introduce cooler air into your airstream? (Y-adapter
with a valve on it!)
