Topic: Bubble plume (2 msgs / 31 lines)

When we brew coffee in our vacuum coffee maker and the coffee goes South,
small bubbles form. The fresher the coffee bean, the more bubbles; perhaps
a bubble plume.
Well, here is an interesting article to contemplate when you drink your
morning cup of coffee.

Lines like this are why I love science articles in newspapers:
"Deane and Stokes determined there are two main kinds: Bubbles with a
radius smaller than about 1 millimeter and those larger."
Um, well yeah - that pretty much covers 'em all.
