Topic: Two more uses for French Roast (2 msgs / 39 lines)
1) From: Paul Jolly
....if you can't stomach it brewed.  The first is
to grind 1/2 cup about as fine as you would for
drip, then mix it in a ziplock baggie with 1 Tbs
salt and 2 Tbs brown sugar.  Put a small steak in
there & do the San Andreas boogie a few times an
hour until ready to barbeque.  I'm not a steak
eater, but I tried some a few months back and it
was stellar.
The second option is to make your favorite
brownies and add 1/2 c of grounds (grind 'em
fine) to the batter.  If it gets too dry, back
off on 1/4-1/2 c of flour next time.  These are
my favorite New Year's Eve dessert---the only way
I can stay up long enough to celebrate it in my
time zone!

Do you wash the coffee/salt/sugar off prior to cooking??  I don't mind 
eating coffee grounds, but I'm not sure everyone would like that.
