Topic: Garlic flavored Coffee was[+OT: Grillin' & BBQin' ] (2 msgs / 36 lines)

I imagine the ISH was still wonderful, but I find that a lot of garlic
has a real impact on the flavor of coffee. One of our favorite fattening
maneuvers is dipping bread in roasted garlic in olive oil and spices.
And the flavor of coffee really shifts when we do. I usually revert to
strong espresso after garlic. Anyone else have this problem?

To the toast or cracker you can add warm cream cheese as a place to put the
garlic, with or without jalapeno jelly (which is really good with baked
brie), and I agree that the strength of espresso based drinks or port is
needed to match the strength of the spreads.
