I heard such rave reviews from the Zass hand grinders that i purchased =
one about 8mo ago from Tom. I threw the reciept away since i was =
convinced i would never have any trouble w/ it, its the smaller version =
that only grinds about 3-4 cups of grounds and more narrow than square. =
The problem is that when i rotate teh adj knob CC until the blades just =
touch then back off a bit until there is no contact w/ the blades -as =
recc for drip brew- there is still some touching only at the 3 oclock =
position. This has just started happening. Also the adj knob will not =
stay set at the correct position it continues to creep its way down =
resulting in courser grinds.

Alex, I had a similar problem, the setting would not stay. I took the =
nut off and added a set-screw. Now it stays put at the same grind. You =
could do the same thing with a piece of tape or a small drop of =
threadlock. About the intermittent touching, sounds like normal, to me. =
I back-off a tad more than that for my press grind. Dan
