I found this source on the internet, and purchased 100 8x12 pre made =
bags 29 dollars including shipping. they offer a variety of sizes of pre =
made. it is about 1/2 the price of the rolls and you don't have to make =
each bag up. go to the URL and scroll down to the food saver section and =
check it out. the bags work great.http://www.alamoholly.com/sub4.htmRon Kyle

Ron,
Those bags say they are 3.5 mil. Do they feel like the same thickness as
the Tilia bags? In my case I need 8 x 6 bags, but I would have no problem
cutting the 8 x 12 bags in half. That would get the cost down to about
$0.10/bag. (8 x 6)
Thanks,

Hey Rick, I'm not sure I'd have to get my micrometers out and they are =
at work, I really can't tell the difference by feeling them. I have used =
the bags for coffee green and roasted, and the wife has used them for =
various freezer applications with no problems, Have not tried to boil =
anything in them yet . The price is good, and I had positive customer =
response over the phone with them. 3 day delivery time from Texas to SC, =
If you call don't forget to mention you saw it on their web page to get =
the price they posted.

This is OK to post. Tom doesn't sell Vac bags.
