Topic: has anybody tried to control air temp... (26 lines)

Ben, Dick Heggs has done this with his
Poppery--essentially opening up the bottom of the
unit and installing a sliding "door" which can
vastly increase the airflow. Check outhttp://members.shaw.ca/espressomio/airflow.htmlWhen I was roasting with a PII in winter, I would
put a large cardboard box over the whole unit to
cycle the warm air back through the popper. The
result was that I could get into a rolling second
crack easily. Then again (as Dan mentioned) this
only serves to increase the temp--a concern most
of us won't have for another couple of months.
Cheers,
Paul
