Topic: Thanks for the 'Breakfast Blend' advice (5 msgs / 76 lines)

Thanks, John and Mike, that was helpful. After I wrote the original email,
I perused Tom's greens list, and got curious about Brazil and Panama (it
brought to mind some comments made here on the list). I may take a chance
on several varieties I haven't tried before
But the Monkey Blend, would this work as a drip? None of us are doing
Espresso in my circle, yet ...

I tried Monkey as vac pot brewed just the other day. I had some that was just past City and too light for espresso. Made a nice batch in the Yama.

I only use it in drip. Tom states he does not like it this way, so did not
even cup and review it aside from espresso. I happen to really like it
drip ( and as a capp, thanks to Les)

And, if I can chime in, it stands up pretty well in a French Press.

I agree 100% with AlChemist John on the Monkey Blend. It not only pulls a
great shot, but I am regularly vacuum pot brewing Monkey Blend and find it
to be an outstanding regular brewed coffee. It is a great drip coffee!
