Topic: Solis Maestro service and kudos to Baratza (23 lines)
1) From: Michael G. Lloyd
While I cannot yet comment on the lifespan of my Solis Maestro, having had
it for only about three months, I can comment on Baratza's service. Upon
removing the upper burr carrier for cleaning, I noted that one of the
plastic triangular tabs that indexes the upper burr carrier onto the lower
burr carrier was broken. I sent an email to Baratza and Josie responded to
me within minutes. As it turns out, Baratza is located only about 20 miles
south of me. Josie emailed me directions, I went there, and was handed a
replacement upper burr in about 15 seconds. And they had such a nice
friendly black dog snoozing in the driveway to boot.
I came home, snapped the burr into place and ground up some of the
Caccarillo Kona that I had roasted two days previous. Everything is now
copacetic and you can count me as a happy customer of Baratza.
