The big brown truck came today, I ordered last Monday, and it shipped =
Tuesday, got here today West Coast to East Coast 8 days on the big brown =
truck, ( the one Dale Jarrett will not race) now I know why, its really =
slow.:O)
5 lb. Columbian decaf Narino del Abuelo
1 lb Monkey Blend
1 lb Panama Boqute Finca la Berlina
My wife unpacked it right away and said the beans were real warm. I =
guess no warmer then they get in a warehouse.
Off to roast a little of each

If you like the La Berlina in true CSA fashion I highly suggest you try the
Mama Cata!

Just tried the Berlina 24 hrs. rest roasted city. just through 1st =
crack but not into 2nd.
A very lively cup, clean, first a very citrus taste, slight spice after =
initial citrus and some chocolate at the finish, a med finish I liked =
it, but may be a bit to bright for my taste. will try it at 48 hrs.rest =
and may roast a batch tonight just into 2nd crack a bit. this should =
mellow the brightness, and I hope it doesn't dull the complexity of the =
cup to much.

Ron,
It is GREAT at the first sounds of second crack! The chocolate is REALLY
there - the citrus is diminished though.
John - sipping a cup as I write (which accounts for the coffee stains
everywhere)
