I have a gaggia MM grinder (no comments please) and lined the plastic =
recepticle with aluminium grill, the type used on security doors as =
insect mesh.
Cut it to shape and glued on. No static.Prior to this mod' the coffee =
grind would jump out and cling to the sink taps and my arms when the lid =
was removed.I did also cut a small strip bent it at the top and glued =
that to the lid so the grinds coming out of the grinder hit this "splash =
guard" and drop into the container. Not sure if this is needed but after =
glueing it on it won't come off for me to try without it.

Ray,

Doesn't that make the recepticle a real problem to clean? I would think
that a lot of dust would eventually gunk up in and around the mesh.
