Topic: Burundi Buyendi + Monsooned Malabar (21 lines)

Yesterday I decided to get rid of the quarter cup of Monsooned 
Malabar and quarter cup of Burundi I had left over by roasting them 
together in my HWP.  Took them fairly well into second crack (Full 
City, I'd say...but I'm swatchless, so whadda I know? ;-) ).  This 
morning, brewed it up (drip with a Swiss gold filter).  Results: 
Yummmmmmm!  Especially as it cooled, it had a distinct coffee liquor 
flavor (FYI I was drinking it black with no sweetener).
Conclusion: While I really don't like straight Monsooned Malabar, 
I've discovered that it blends in fascinating ways with other beans. 
I can't say that all the combinations I've tried have worked out, but 
enough have that I think I'm going to order more of the zombie beans 
just for this sort of use.
